Parker's visit on Mother's Day

My grandson, Parker. He is adorable. I loved rocking him to sleep on Mother's Day, what a special time, to hold a 4 week old and rock him, holding that precious baby so close to my heart for a few hours, watching him sleep. It is a feeling you can never forget. Bless you Parker, I am thrilled that you have come into my life.

Berlin to see Andrew 2010, and on to Amsterdam and Paris Together

My son Andrew surprised me and gave me a ticket to fly to Berlin via Toronto and Copenhagen. He planned a trip for us to go to Amsterdam and Paris together after seeing Berlin!!!
He was graciously awaiting my arrival on Sept. 19 as I got to Berlin ...that morning we both had tears in our eyes because I actually made it, all by myself, to Berlin where he lives ! We spent the next two days in Berlin, him being my tour guide, taking me to some of the most historic places in Berlin. Among them, the remains of the Berlin Wall, the great Cathedral, and the Holocaust Memorial. We also went to the famous Ka De We, where we ate and shopped on the 9 floors of this huge and famous department store.

The Resort and Cozumel

I stayed @ a great place that was located just 5 min from downtown Playa del Carmen. You could walk it, or taxi. I chose to taxi. It was a family oriented resort, clean, great food, and the staff were all very friendly and accommodating, hard working people. One of the days I took the ferry across to Cozumel and did some shopping and site seeing...

Playa del Carmen, Mexico @ La Santanera and Diablito Cha Cha Cha

My trip to Mexico, specifically revolved around wanting to be in a nice place where I could hear my son, Andrew play. He is a DJ and does techno @ clubs around the world. I traveled to Playa del Carmen and will not ever fear traveling alone now. It was a wonderful trip, and my mind and heart are full of the best memories. I loved Mexico and would go back in an instant. I will go there again, no doubt. The town of Playa del Carmen is alive day and night, but more at night. People are out at all hours, eating, drinking and partying. The streets are filled with people. I was amazed !! Andrew, aka Butane, was awesome and I had guys coming up to me kissing my hand, congratulating the Mother of the DJ!! He played in a club called La Santanera. It is quite unusual and very appealing. Some pictures follow....I had a great time.

Just a few pics of Tim McGraw

I just love this guy....his concerts are the BEST, I could see him over and over again, and I do!!! Southern Voice Tour this year is by far my favorite, though.

Just take a good look at him....and listen to his songs.

Summer at the Lily Pad

Summer is here and it has been a hot one!! We have had company and the pool has had many visitors.....here are some pictures of who came to see us...
Zach, Kristen, Pat and Ava were here one weekend and we all had fun swimming and trying on sunglasses!!! Ava looked like Bono!

Kaitlyn, Jim's daughter, came from Tennessee and brought her dog Tucker along. They stayed with us about 6 days and we went to a Dave Matthews concert and Tim McGraw and Lady Antebellum concert. We had a GREAT time!!! Jim's sister Mindy also spent the weekend while Kaitlyn was here. All the dogs in all our families get along fine...they have fun too!

Now Kristen and Ava are here for a visit and Sarah is going to do Ava's 2 year old pictures tomorrow. So it should be fun! I might just have to take a few myself to post them!!!!
